The Omaha Bishops’ Storehouse is in urgent need of drivers. Each Wednesday, the Storehouse delivers requested food to Saints receiving assistance. Deliveries are made to Stakes in Ames and Des Moines, IA (6 hours); then Lincoln, NE (2 hours) the next week. Two drivers participate weekly. Driver assignments normally occur once or twice per month. A DOT Medical Examination is required (not a CDL license). Moderate lifting is required. Delivering food from the Bishops' Storehouse to members that are outside our immediate area on behalf of the Savior is truly a blessing. Team members are called as Church Service Missionaries. And yes, couples are welcome. Please address questions to the Bishops' Storehouse at 402-891-1577 or at WEL-SH-Omaha@ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
